Emilio Quintana

I am Emilio Quintana-Pareja and I am Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Hispanic Philology by the University of Granada. At the moment I´m working as a Permanent Teacher in Spanish Language, Culture and Literature at the Instituto Cervantes in Utrecht, the official Spanish Government Cultural Centre in the Netherlands.

I am the administrator of the DELE certification in the Low Countries, the only officially accredited qualifications in Spanish as a Foreign Language.

Previous to this, I was working in Spain, Sweden and Italy, teaching at the Universidad de Granada (Spain), Lunds Universitet (Sweden) and Università degli Studi di Pavia (Italy).

During the last years I am terribly seduced by Information and Communication Technologies for Learning and little by little I trying to engage myself in several projects of diffusion, innovation and research about the new web possibilities and Learning Foreign Leanguages.

I live mainly in Utrecht. My mother tongue is Spanish, and I also speak Italian, French and English. I like pop music, dogs and Scandinavian Design.
