Javier Melenchón

"Javier Melenchón received his B.Sc. and M.Sc degree in Multimedia, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Ph.D. from Enginyeria La Salle in Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona, Spain, in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2007, respectively. He worked as Associate Professor in the Department of Communications and Signal Theory in Enginyeria La Salle from 2001 to 2007 and joined the Multimodal Processing Research Group at the same institution in 2005. Since 2007, he is working as Associate Professor in the Estudis d'Informàtica, Multimèdia i Telecomunicació in Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. His main research interests are audio, image and multimodal signal processing, as well as machine learning."
